"The most beautiful people we have known are those who have known defeat, known suffering, known struggle, known loss & have found their way out of the depths. These persons have an appreciation, sensitivity & an understanding of life that fills them with compassion, gentleness, & a deep loving concern. Beautiful people do not just happen" -Elizabeth Kubler Ross

I am passionate about the health & wellness practice area of OT and how it can benefit many clients!

My name is Michele Waller I began my journey to becoming an Occupational Therapist in college earning a B.S in Community Health at Florida Gulf Coast University. A few years later I earned my MSOT at Florida International University. I started working in 2015 at a Skilled Nursing Home facility in St. Petersburg FL. Today I work with an excellent team to maximize our client’s safety, independence, and participation in self-care tasks, meaningful activities, and functional mobility. I recently completed a 200 hour yogi teacher training and I am now a registered yoga teacher. I am currently working on creating a chair yoga program for the residents of our nursing home. In the future I hope to expand my Occupational Therapy skill set by gaining experience in as many practice areas and settings as possible. I have a short term goal of becoming a traveling therapist and working around the United States. My long term goal is to utilize my yoga training to implement a holistic based OT program for seniors, children with autism, and active duty members.
